Abstract:

An amino acid, Leucine is the key branched-chain-amino-acid in regulating muscle protein synthesis.

From the lab:

  • An essential amino acid, which cannot be manufactured in the body and is one of the three branched-chain-amino-acids (BCAAs).
  • Emerging research indicates that leucine is the key BCAA involved in regulating the genetic signaling pathways involved in muscle protein synthesis.
  • Mix 1 scoop into 8 ounces of water, fruit juice or sports drink. Take before, during or after workout. Mix one scoop into pre-workout, BCAA or protein supplement to fuel muscles and support protein synthesis.
